Meet Coach Kier
I am a Family Life Educator (FLE) and certified Relationship Coaching Specialist (RCS) with an advanced degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Utah State University. I’ve also completed extensive International Coaching Federation–accredited training to support families like yours. More importantly, I am a devoted wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and disciple of Jesus Christ.
My husband and I have been blending our family of ten children and 22 grandchildren (and three former spouses) since 2007. Like most stepfamilies, our journey has included both heartache and joy, teaching me firsthand the complexity—and beauty—of blending lives.
Over the years, I sought guidance that was grounded in both research and faith, yet empirically-based resources tailored to Latter-day Saint families are rare. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to combine professional training, lived experience (often through my own stumbling and mistakes), and gospel-centered principles to encourage and equip single parents, remarried couples, and blended families.
I know the challenges are real—but so is the joy that comes when families take personal accountability for their growth as they build a culture of connection and compassion. Clients work with me because I offer both empathy and expertise, walking alongside them with faith and tools to strengthen relationships, resolve complex challenges, and invite the Savior’s grace into everyday family life.
